This section covers software support for the SC//HyperCore™ HyperVisor and SC//Fleet™ Manager, including its scope, policies, and reference information. It explains what’s supported and what isn’t, licensing tiers, release support policy, and product lifecycle terminology. It also covers SC//Fleet Manager requirements, browser support, and replication version compatibility.
Scope of Support
Supported: Scale Computing fully supports and troubleshoots SC//HyperCore operation for any supported operating systems and configurations, and may document environment-specific configurations, best practices, and performance optimizations. Where applicable, Scale Computing may also provide certified configurations with the operating system vendor.
Unsupported: Scale Computing will support and troubleshoot SC//HyperCore components only. Environment-specific configurations and best practices, including performance optimizations, may not be available for unsupported configurations. Scale Computing does not routinely test these configurations and typically cannot recreate issues specific to them for troubleshooting.

Cluster and Single Node System terminology (node/storage types, tiering, etc.), tested system limits, VM import/export support, and supported guest operating systems are covered in Appendix C: System Limits, Hardware Combination and Node Compatibility and Supported Guest Operating Systems. That information isn’t repeated here, so the pages don’t drift out of sync.
