puppet.disabled?
Retrieves whether Puppet is currently disabled on the node. A return value of true means Puppet is disabled. A return value of false means Puppet is enabled.
JSON-RPC Request
{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"puppet.disabled?"}
JSON-RPC Response
{
"jsonrpc": "2.0",
"id": 1,
"result": "<boolean>"
}
RVC CLI Example
rvc puppet disabled?
Response
true
Output when Puppet is enabled:
false
The CLI exits with code 0 whether Puppet is enabled or disabled, so scripts should check the returned value rather than the exit code. In the JSON-RPC response, result is a JSON Boolean (true or false), not a string.
