SC//HyperCore™ HyperVisor software uses OpenID Connect (OIDC) to authenticate SSO users. OIDC works with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), on-premises Active Directory, Okta, and ADFS. The software has no native multi-factor authentication (MFA). When you set up SSO, your identity provider enforces MFA, conditional access, and session policies.
Single Sign On via Active Directory
SC//HyperCore software works with on-premises Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID. This helps you manage and monitor access to your Scale Computing systems. Active Directory is a key tool for storing and managing company directory data. Administrators use it to track and manage the users and computers on their network. These guides show how to set up on-premises AD and Azure AD with the SC//HyperCore system:

Single Sign On via Okta
SC//HyperCore software works with Okta for single sign-on and role management, so you can control access across your SC//HyperCore environment in one place. This helps standardize user access and makes users easier to manage. You can then track and manage who can reach your environment. This guide shows how to set up the SC//HyperCore system with Okta:
