OS Version 4.3.2
Summary
The EOS 4.3.2 release includes general improvements, security enhancements, and bug fixes.
Release Date: November 23, 2020
Enhancements
- 0013 Upgrade to Debian Linux version 10
The 4.3.2 firmware release sees an upgrade of the system to Debian Linux version 10 which addresses security fixes.
Resolved Issues
- 0001 – The process of NTP synchronization and Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) results in high memory consumption, which causes the syst module to freeze and stop responding. The fix applied in this release will ensure that the syst module continues to operate with low system memory resources.
- 0014 – This issue affects the ELFIQ units running on the 3.x OS version. The unit stops responding to the ARP requests resulting in Internet traffic connectivity issues.
- 0018 – In the syst module, the command to enable/disable NTP server is duplicated. This is a cosmetic issue and does not affect NTP functionality. For example:## NTPntp server 0.pool.ntp.org 1ntp enablentp enable
