Adaptiv Cloud Orchestrator v4.0

Adaptiv Cloud Orchestrator v4.0

This page list all the releases for Adaptiv Cloud Orchestrator v4.0.

  • Release 4.1.0

    Release Date: June 14, 2024

    Features and enhancements

    Service Orders

    • Implemented a process to improve the efficiency of LAN configuration in Service Orders. The LAN Configuration drop-down menu on the Technical Configuration page is replaced with a LAN Configuration button. This button opens up a LAN Configuration form with a configuration preset selected during the creation of service orders making the configuration easy and efficient.
    • In Service Orders pages, we introduced tooltips that provide more information about security templates. The tooltips can assist partners in selecting the right security template for the site.

    Device Management

    • Introducing the Remote Access feature that will enable partners to securely access Edge devices remotely. The feature is available for Edge devices running on Adaptiv OS v8.1.0 and greater and can be accessed from the site dashboard.
    • The Security page in device management now shows that details of cloud security template applied to the site. The details include categories in each template, a brief description of each category and its configuration (allowed/denied).

    Dashboard

    • Redesigned customer dashboard to facilitate better performance. Partners can now view a simplified version of site(s) within the customer network with the help of the site table. This table includes details about the site's status, hardware model, license, and serial number. Additionally, there is sort and search functionality built into the site table to allow quick access to the site(s) of interest.

    Addressed Issues

    • 1123 –  When editing site with a previously reserved static public IP block and data center, changing the data center value does not update the available static public IP block field values.
    • 1238 – On certain occasions, instead of displaying information for a configured port in the site dashboard, the orchestrator may show the port as "Not in Use."
    • 1392 – After changing wireless type in service order, a user is unable to add the site to deployment queue without reconfiguring the port.
    • 1427 – When creating a site with Public IP at the Gateway, the Add to Queue button is not enabled. To enable it the user must edit and save the LAN Configuration. To use the default IP provided by the orchestrator add a note in the LAN Configuration to enable the Save button. Alternatively, change the IP address to enable the Save button.
  • Release 4.0.11

    Release Date: May 27, 2024

    Features and enhancements

    General

    • Release 4.0.11 adds support for configuration of static public IP address at gateway. This release will enable partners to set up customer sites with either a private IP, static public IP at LAN, or static public IP at gateway.
    • Improved Customer Dashboard loading time to optimize the amount of data loaded for each site. The customer dashboard now displays the sites with statuses. The Total Network Usage by Sites and Total Network Usage by Service Category are no longer available.
    • Continued improvements to the Service Orders and Device Management workflows.

    Service Orders

    • Service order workflows are enhanced to support configuration of private IP, static public IP at LAN, and static public IP at gateway.
    • Service orders now have functionality to enable/disable and configure DHCP server.

    Device Management

    • The LAN Configuration page in Device Management has new functionalities:
      • Ability to configure and manage DHCP IP reservations.
      • For sites with static public IP at LAN, ability to manage port access for static IP addresses.
      • For sites with static public IP at gateway, ability to map a private IP to a public IP and manage port access for the static IP.

    Addressed Issues

    • 1171 – Configuring a device with upload and download speeds less than 5 Mbps in a service order may prevent the device from being properly configured.
    • 1195 – Removing or changing the data center by editing the site in service orders will not work for sites reserved with a static public IP address. To delete or change the data center, the users must first unassign the static public IP block by disabling the Static Public IP either through the Device Management or LAN Configuration page from the Technical Configuration page in service orders.
    • 1198 – The Site Summary does not reflect any updates made to the traffic steering, security, or application prioritization templates through Device Management.
    • 1260 – In Device Management > WAN Configuration, the backup option for the wireless port remains selected and disabled even if all other WAN ports are reset.
  • Release 4.0.10

    Release Date: February 20, 2024

    Device Management

    • Introduced a mechanism on Device Management that enables users to save or discard changes to the configuration of deployed sites.

    Addressed Issues

    • 880 – If a site with a USB-LTE connection is redeployed after removing the connection, the USB LTE connection for the site will still be displayed on the site dashboard.  The link status is listed as "medium" and therefore affects the overall status of the customer site.
    • 1042 – In LAN Configuration, only the first DNS domain in the comma-separated list of domains is configured on the Edge device.
    • 1112 – The WAN Configuration page in Device Management allows users to reset all WAN links for a site. Adaptiv recommends not resetting all WAN links for a site.
    • 1168 – In Site Summary, the region name is replaced with a device model value like E40 or E60.
    • 1203 – The Save button is not enabled when the Static Public IP switch is toggled in the LAN Configuration page of Device Management. To switch from a static public IP to a private IP, a user needs to remove the site from deployment in the service order, make the necessary changes to the site, and then redeploy it.
