Back up using the Command Line Interface

Follow this procedure to create a backup using the Command Line Interface (CLI).

1. Access the CLI using one of the following methods:
   ( Refer to the Access the Command Line Interface article for more details.)
   
   • Console port
   • SSHv2 connection
   • Management Interface
   •  ELFIQ Central CLI
     
2. Enter ena and enter the password for enable mode when prompted.
   The prompt changes to show that you are in enable mode.
3. Type broker and press Enter.
4. Run the sh conf command.
5. Copy all the output between the banner at the top and the new prompt at the bottom.
6. Paste the copied content into the text editor of your choice.
7. Save the file for future use.
