Cloud Security

All SD-WAN products within Adaptiv Connect offer built-in security features to safeguard network infrastructure and data. The built-in security enables customers to manage the traffic data flowing through their networks. Depending on the level and type of security applied to a customer site, this feature will block malicious software, illegal content, and other threats that could compromise the safety of the customer's network. In addition to security, it can also block high-traffic websites like social media sites and streaming software that typically cause network congestion. 

The built-in security features include: 

• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA): ZTNA grants access to network resources on a need-to-know basis, which minimizes the risk of lateral movement by attackers.
• Built-in stateful firewall in Edge devices: The stateful firewall only accepts incoming traffic going through the overlay tunnel (unless there is a static public IP address provided by Adaptiv Networks for a public server, which would that would permit inbound traffic for specific ports). 
• Encryption: The proprietary protocol used by Adaptiv protects data while it is in transit, guarding against sensitive information being intercepted or eavesdropped. 
• Use of private IP addresses: Improves security by keeping internal and external network traffic separate, protecting the Local Area Network (LAN) from the Internet. 

Additionally, Adaptiv Connect offers two more security features:

• Web Protect: Provides organizations with comprehensive security capabilities beyond the baseline features in Adaptiv Connect.
• Network Protect: SASE solution designed to address the evolving threat landscape and provide organizations with a more robust defence strategy against sophisticated cyber-attacks.
