Verifone Link

The Verifone Link application provides a packaged set of configuration features that implement Verifone's network configuration and segmentation standard for Commander POS deployments. In the App Catalog, this application is listed as Verifone Link.

Installation

Scale Computing installs and configures this application for you as part of the managed service. The steps below show what happens at the site.

  1. Install and configure the Scale Computing edge security device (ESD) and the port expander.
  2. Connect the POS components to the switch.
  3. Connect the switch to the ESD.
  4. Scale Computing installs the application at the site.

System requirements

  • Scale Computing ESD: MG3, SG1v1, SG2v1, XG1v1, or VG

  • A VLAN switch configured to the Verifone standard (typically ProSafe GS716T)

  • Commander POS standard store configuration
