Site status page

The Site Status page shows the live state of a single site: its edge security device (ESD), its network, and the SC//AcuVigilâ„¢ applications installed there. Start here for routine site checks, configuration reviews, and troubleshooting.

Open the Site Status page

Use either of these:

  • In the company menu, select Locations, then select the site's tile.
  • In the site menu at the top of any page for that site, select Status.

Page layout

The Site Status page with five numbered regions: 1 the top navigation bar, 2 the location header with the status badge, 3 the site notes, 4 the tab list, and 5 the content area showing the Network tab

  1. Top navigation bar. Appears on every dashboard page. It has the company, Affiliates, site, and Apps menus, plus search and your user menu.
  2. Location header. Shows the site's location, the ESD's serial number, and the site's status badge (for example, CRITICAL).
  3. Site notes. If the site has notes, their titles are listed here. Select a title to open the note. This area doesn't appear when a site has no notes.
  4. Tab list. Lists the Network and Devices tabs, followed by a tab for each application installed at the site. The colored square next to a tab shows that tab's status, using the same colors as the site tiles.
  5. Content area. Shows the selected tab. Each tab has its own menu at the top right; for example, the Network tab has Network Info, Status History, Status Doc, and Today's Log.

Tabs

The tab list shows the Network and Devices tabs on every site, followed by a tab for each SC//AcuVigil application installed at that site. The exact tab set varies by device type and licensed applications. Each tab has its own child page in this guide. The site's location details are described in Location info.

In the Device types column, MG, SG, XG, and VG refer to ESD hardware model families: MG covers the MG3, MG3v3, and MG3v4, SG is SG1v1 and SG2v1, XG is XG1v1, and VG covers the VGLv1 and VGMv1 hardware variants. For more information about ESD models, see Scale Computing edge security devices.

Status badge

The status badge in the location header shows the site's overall status: DOWN, CRITICAL, WARNING, INFO, or OK. It reflects the worst current status across the site's monitored applications, and the border around the content area uses the same color. For what each status means and what to do, see Site status colors.

Note: Some application subtitles still read "Acumera's Merchant Gateway", the earlier name for the ESD. This guide quotes those subtitles as they appear on screen.
