Installing the MultiWAN application

You install the MultiWAN application on a site from the SC//AcuVigil™ dashboard.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the SC//AcuVigil dashboard.
  • A Scale Computing edge security device (ESD) at the site: SG1v1, SG2v1, XG1v1, or VG.
  • The site's WAN interfaces are configured on the ESD.

Installation overview

  1. Configure the WAN interfaces on the ESD.
  2. Have Scale Computing install the MultiWAN application at the site.
  3. Configure load balancing groups, weights, and sensitivity.

Install the MultiWAN application

Scale Computing installs applications on your sites. To have MultiWAN installed, contact Scale Computing Support and tell them which sites need it. Open a ticket in the SC//AcuVigil dashboard, email team@scalecomputing.com, or call (512) 687-7401.

After MultiWAN is installed, it appears under Installed Apps on the site's Info page, and a MultiWAN tab appears on the site's Status page.
