Gilbarco Link

The Gilbarco Link application provides a packaged set of configuration features that implement Gilbarco's network configuration and segmentation standard for Passport POS deployments. In the App Catalog, this application is listed as Gilbarco Link.

Installation

Scale Computing installs and configures this application for you as part of the managed service. The steps below show what happens at the site.

  1. Install and configure the Scale Computing edge security device (ESD) and the port expander.
  2. Connect the POS components to the switch.
  3. Connect the switch to the ESD.
  4. Scale Computing installs the application at the site.

System requirements

  • Scale Computing ESD: MG3, SG1v1, SG2v1, XG1v1, or VG

  • One or more VLAN switches configured to the Gilbarco standard (typically ProSafe GS108T or GS716T)

  • Passport POS standard store configuration
