External Scans tab

The External Scans tab displays the results of the PCI External Scans application for this site on the SC//AcuVigil™ edge security device (ESD). The application runs external vulnerability scans of the site's internet-facing systems, to support the PCI DSS requirement for quarterly external vulnerability scans (requirement 11.3.2). Use this tab to review the result and status of the latest scan for a scan cycle.

For an overview of the application, see External Scans.

What to look for

  1. Scan Result for the latest cycle — confirms whether the site passed its most recent external scan.
  2. Failed checks with a high severity — review and remediate these first.
  3. Scan Status — if a scan didn't complete, open a ticket in the SC//AcuVigil dashboard, email team@scalecomputing.com, or call (512) 687-7401.
