ESS Plus (Enhanced Security Service Plus) builds on the services included in ESS Standard. It adds behavior and anomaly analysis and deep packet inspection, with findings reported through the included Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. It also includes a browser filter service for additional threat detection and blocking.
ESS is available in three tiers, each building on the one before:
- ESS Standard: higher traffic analysis limits and MDR services.
- ESS Plus (this page)
- ESS PCI: adds internal and ASV scan services to help with PCI compliance.

Getting the application
Scale Computing installs ESS Plus on your sites as part of the managed service. To change its settings, contact Scale Computing Support. To add it to a site, open a ticket in the SC//AcuVigil dashboard, email team@scalecomputing.com, or call (512) 687-7401.
