Commander Events

The Verifone Commander Events application receives Verifone Commander POS events such as the one-time password and displays them in SC//AcuVigil™.

Installation

Scale Computing installs and configures this application for you as part of the managed service. The steps below show what happens at the site.

1. Install the Scale Computing edge security device (ESD).
2. Connect the POS components to the switches and connect the switches to the ESD.
3. Configure the Event Manager Tool to send events to the ESD.
4. Scale Computing installs the application at the site.

System requirements

• Scale Computing ESD: MG3, SG1v1, SG2v1, XG1v1, or VG

• One or more switches with VLANs configured to the Verifone standard

• Verifone Commander POS
• AcuLink™ Verifone Remote Commander Access Service
