Commander Backup

The Verifone Commander POS Backup application backs up the Verifone Commander POS configuration files to a cloud-based storage location.

Where to find it

To see this application's reports and company-wide settings for all your sites, select Commander Backup from the Apps menu. The page is titled Verifone Commander POS Backup.

Installation

Scale Computing installs and configures this application for you as part of the managed service. The steps below show what happens at the site.

1. Install the Scale Computing edge security device (ESD).
2. Connect the POS components to the switches and connect the switches to the ESD.
3. Scale Computing installs the application at the site.

Getting the application

Scale Computing installs Commander Backup on your sites as part of the managed service. To change its settings, contact Scale Computing Support. To add it to a site, open a ticket in the SC//AcuVigil dashboard, email team@scalecomputing.com, or call (512) 687-7401.

System requirements

• Scale Computing ESD: MG3, SG1v1, SG2v1, XG1v1, or VG

• One or more switches with VLANs configured to the Verifone standard

• Verifone Commander POS
