Comdata

The Comdata Connection Service application runs on the Scale Computing edge security device (ESD) and securely and reliably connects IP-based POS systems to Comdata's payment infrastructure.

Where to find it

To see this application's reports and company-wide settings for all your sites, select Comdata from the Apps menu. The page is titled Comdata Connection Service.

Scale Computing installs and configures this application for you as part of the managed service. The steps below show what happens at the site.

1. Scale Computing installs the application at the site.
2. Scale Computing configures the application with POS information. Have this information ready when you request the application.

Getting the application

Scale Computing installs Comdata on your sites as part of the managed service. To change its settings, contact Scale Computing Support. To add it to a site, open a ticket in the SC//AcuVigil dashboard, email team@scalecomputing.com, or call (512) 687-7401.

System requirements

• Scale Computing ESD: MG3, SG1v1, SG2v1, XG1v1, or VG

• Power to the ESD, and a site network with POS equipment, a POS connection, correct cabling, and an internet connection
