The AcuLink™ Remote Access Service application gives SC//AcuVigil™ users fast, simple, PCI-compliant connections to local devices at a site. It adds a layer of security to devices that are inherently insecure. Instead of port forwarding from the entire internet to endpoint devices, AcuLink adds strong cryptography and limits managed access to one authenticated user at a time.
In the App Catalog, this application is listed as Remote Access.
Where to find it
To see this application's reports and company-wide settings for all your sites, select Remote Access from the Apps menu. The page is titled AcuLink™ Remote Access Service.
Company-wide settings
The AcuLink company page sets the connection Mode (Auto, Direct, or Proxy) and lists Device Classes. Each device class has a URL, a TLS mapping, additional ports, and options for affiliate access, requiring client certificates, and whether the class is enabled. Add new device class... adds one.
Scale Computing manages these company-wide settings as part of the managed service. To request a change, contact Scale Computing Support.
