SC//HyperCore 9.8.2 is the first 9.8 release. It introduces VM templates and tooling for VMs with expired Secure Boot certificates.

New features
- VM templates. You can now create a VM template: a prebuilt VM designed to be cloned and slightly modified. The web interface includes new controls to support templates.
- Secure Boot certificate updates. New tooling and interface elements update VMs whose Secure Boot certificates have expired.
Enhancements
- A link to the experimental v2 API is now available from the API documentation in the Control Center.
- The username field now accepts uppercase letters, hyphens and underscores.
- The cluster name field now accepts spaces.
- The NET gauge in the HUD now shows bits instead of bytes.

- Fixed a latency issue with SK hynix drives.

- Fixed a security vulnerability in OIDC token handling.
